VALLIS First School celebrated Christmas with a host of Christmas nativity plays.
The school reports, “As the autumn term came to a close, the Vallis First School corridors were filled with the sound of singing and excited voices practising for the annual Christmas nativity plays ,performed in 11 shows throughout the last week of term!
“This year our youngest children in Sun and Moon class told the Christmas story with ten tubby snowmen in a play called ‘Snowmen at Sunset’. Our year 1 children have performed ‘It’s a baby!’ and year 2 children have enjoyed the nativity story as told in ‘Children of the world’. Our key stage two classes: Voyager with Milky Way and Galaxy with Mars, have told the Christmas story through the eyes of the ‘Landlord’s cat’!”
Headteacher Naomi Pauley said, “There is no better way to start Christmas celebrations than a school nativity play. There is a strong tradition of enjoying performance here in Frome and the children of Vallis are no exception! We hope everyone had a great Christmas and we wish everyone a Happy New Year!”
