After the success of last year’s class, Dave Hamilton, local author and horticulturalist is back with another master class in vegetable growing.
The course will be held in Frome, on the weekend of 23rd and 24th March.
Organisers say, “First time growers and allotment owners will gain enough knowledge to get them started and achieve success within the first year. It will also help those who have been growing for some time iron out any problems they may be experiencing.
“Informally taught without exams or tests, this weekend course will give you a chance to meet like-minded growers from Frome and the surrounding area. Our expert will explain the basics of setting up a growing space; including maintaining a healthy soil, crop planning, crop rotation, plant families and ground clearing.”
