Bellevue Veterinary Clinic has presented a cheque to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance for £455.42.
The money was raised at Bellevue’s summer fete last month. Practice manager Lesley Penny said, “This cause is close to many of the team’s heart as we all have experienced cases where friends and families lives have depended on it.
“This worthy cause is so important to the community and it is solely run on donations, so we’d like to thank everyone who contributed towards the day and look forward to seeing you all again at our next fete in July 2020.
“Bellevue Veterinary Clinic originated in 2006, and is owned, operated by and even built by David Francis (BVetMed BSc(hons) BVetMed MRCVS.) and his family. Proud to be independent, David wanted to create a veterinary clinic that would provide the best possible care for horses and small animals using advanced treatment methods, but with traditional values of personal customer service, professionalism, integrity and community spirit.
“The team is made up of equine veterinary surgeons, small animal surgeons, veterinary nurses and, of course, the administration team who keep everything running smoothly.
“Our commitment to advanced veterinary treatment extends beyond our highly trained team. We have a wider team of colleagues at Bellevue made up of some of the UK’s leading visiting veterinary consultants with specific expertise who regularly visit the practice offering treatments including orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, advanced dentistry and remedial acupuncture. We also have an expert farrier to provide regular and remedial shooing. This team offer their expertise to complement our wide range of services, ensuring that we provide everything that your animal needs.”
