LOCAL counselling charity, We Hear You, is running a Santa’s grotto on Friday 1st December from 5pm to 8pm in No.5 Coffee House for Frome’s Big Christmas Switch On.
Tickets cost £4 per child for a gift and a meeting with Santa and all proceeds go towards free professional counselling sessions for children, adults and young people affected by cancer or a life-threatening condition.
Fundraising officer Helen White says, ‘We’re delighted to be running the grotto again this year – it’s a great part to play in this lovely family event. We’re even more excited to be right at the centre of the action in No. 5 Coffee House next to the George Hotel. Your ticket price pays for a quality gift and a meeting with Santa for your child, knowing that at the same time you’re supporting We Hear You and helping people in your area access free counselling when they’re coping with the strain of a life-threatening diagnosis, caring for a loved one who is unwell, or going through bereavement. Demand for our service has never been higher, so please come along, enjoy the evening and support WHY!’
We Hear You’s grotto will be open from 5pm to 8pm in the George Hotel on Friday 1st December, as part of the Frome Big Christmas Switch On 2017.
