THE Woodlanders, Frome’s long-running music hall ensemble, will be hosting their annual show in October.
The extravaganza of music and mirth will run from Monday 9 October to Saturday 14 October at the Woodlands Hippodrome (aka East Woodlands Village Hall).
This year sees the company marking 40 years of productions. David Millard, who has introduced the show since the very first performance in 1977, said, “We will have a blend of old favourites and new material to celebrate forty fantastic years – so come along and see if your particular favourite sketch or song is included.”
The show will help to raise money for local charities. Since 1977, Woodlanders have raised over £150,000 for local good causes.
