SELWOOD Academy was recently paid a visit by professional mountain biker Grant Fielder as part of the Superschools sports scheme.
School spokesperson Jane Larman said, “For the past twenty years, Selwood Academy has supported the Superschools organisation, which raises money to fund the training of young, talented athletes.
“Grant Fielder; a former World champion mountain biker visited the school to talk to the children about his life as a professional mountain biker.
“He then delighted the pupils by giving a demonstration of his skills on the school playground!”
