The Pepperbox Nursery has just enjoyed celebrating being open for 10 years.
The nursery held a party and invited children who came to the nursery since it opened in November 2005 to come along.
The children enjoyed revisiting the nursery and seeing the changes that have been made to the three different rooms and also the all-weather outside play area. Of course it being a birthday celebration there was plenty of cakes to go around.
It was a great opportunity for the staff to catch up with the children and their parents and share their news. The parents were pleased to see the familiar faces of the staff, many of whom have been with the nursery since its first year of opening.
As part of the anniversary the children, staff and parents have been raising money to help the local charity Time is Precious. Having finished the fund raising the total collected was £602.25 which was presented to the charity to help with their work with children and their families: timeisprecious.org/what-we-do
