The over the top, larger than life world of CSF Professional Wrestling arrives once again in Frome on Sunday 28th October as the popular Cheese and Grain hosts another live edition of ‘Wrestling Showdown!’
The previous CSF event in town back in May, featured former WWE star and reigning BLW World Champion Montel Vontavious Porter: MVP. This time, the star attraction is former WWE NXT / TNA / Impact star Bram!
The family-friendly event, which will see a total of 16 top stars do battle in five pro bouts of bone crunching, high flying family entertainment, will host Tag Team, Championship and Grudge bouts featuring top international wrestlers from the CSF roster. The Impact Wrestling ‘King Of The Mountain’ BRAM will challenge ‘The Fox’ Kian Kelly in the feature presentation, whilst the ever popular Charlie Sterling returns to team up with ‘English Lion’ Eddie Ryan to face off against Bane and Bronson.
Other stars set to appear include The Saint, Olly Lloyd, Dan Splash, Tiger Ali, Owen Wall and ‘Country Big’ Joshua Knott, along with a host of new names making their first appearance in Frome.
CSF Professional Wrestling has been hosting live bouts here for over 13 years. This year alone, legends of the sport such as ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan, ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, Sabu, Mr. Kennedy, Juventud Guerrera, Doug Williams, Jack Swagger and MVP have all appeared for CSF. The All Nations Championship, currently held by WWE NXT Superstar Mark Andrews will also feature at an event in Frome in the near future.
CSF Management say, “Wrestling fans at the Cheese and Grain have always given us a warm welcome when we visit town. We held our first bout here 13 years ago and have now held over 40 live events at the venue. We bring the biggest names in the world to our shows and look forward to giving our fans another action-packed evening of live entertainment on October 28th.”

![Town-wide programme brings month of social activities in May
A month-long programme of activities and events is set to take place across the town in May as part of an initiative encouraging residents to connect with themselves, each other and local places.
The scheme, Frome Connects, will run throughout the month and includes a mix of social activities, creative events and informal meet-ups in community spaces.
Highlights include the return of Dress Up Fridays, which began during lockdown and invites people to wear formal clothing or fancy dress and turn the town into their catwalk each Friday.
Set-piece moments include a Kate Bush-themed flashmob (Running Up That [Catherine] Hill) on 30th May, followed by a bell peal at St John’s Church where the bells will play Running Up That Hill.
There will also be a whole-town drone photo on Friday 30th May, with everyone encouraged to ‘look up’ at around 12.30pm.
