Ebbie Burns & Georgie McCowan from Ebbies Kitchen will be holding a charity event at Rook Lane Chapel to raise money for the charity CLIC Sargent on Saturday 22nd November.
Ebbie said, “The inspiration behind this fundraiser is a very special little boy from Mells called Benny Crutchley who, in 2011, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Following his diagnosis, CLIC Sargent provided Benny and his family with practical, emotional and financial support. Unfortunately Benny lost his fight to cancer and passed away.
“This event aims to raise important funds for CLIC so that they can continue to help families get through this horribly challenging time.
“The charity night will be filled with entertainment including live music from incredible, local musicians, hilarious comedians and awe-inspiring magicians. There will also be an auction with some incredible prizes from The Talbot Inn, Orchardleigh House with helicopter ride, Babington House Jewellery, film premiere tickets and many more items for lucky guests to bid on, and a stunning three course supper supplied by Ebbies Kitchen.”
Local businesses from Frome and the surrounding area have shown their great support by taking the time to donate towards this charity. If you feel that you would like to show your support, then please get in contact to purchase a ticket for this spectacular night!
