Local outdoor adventure company, Aveling Adventure, is organising Frome’s Adventure Fest happening in Victoria Park, Frome on Saturday the 21st of May from 11am-4pm.
Aveling Adventure will provide a whole host of adventurous activities from rock climbing and archery, to circus skills and pioneering. Other local clubs and organisations will provide a range of other activities including forest schools, martial arts, bike workshops, face painting and toddler groups.
Managing director, Jenna Hynd said, “This event will be amazing for so many different members of the community. Not everyone would get the chance to try some of these activities and it’s fantastic that we get to offer them in our local park.”
The range of activities provided by Aveling Adventure and other local groups will raise money for Somerset-based charities, School in a Bag, The Somerset Youth Project and Frome organisation FROGS. They offer vital work across the world and in their local community. School in a Bag delivers rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan and disaster-affected children around the world.
All activities will cost just £1 minimum donation or £5 minimum donation per person for an unlimited pass. These passes are available to buy in advance at the Refectory at The Old Church School, Frome, or by contacting Aveling Adventure on jenna@aveling-adventure.co.uk
