A Summer party and barbecue, FIFA World Cup, Pub Choir and live music from Under Cover are planned in the coming weeks at 23 Bath St.
On Friday 22nd June, 23 Bath St opens their doors for a Summer Party and barbecue. The party starts with a barbecue at 6pm with all meat supplied by Penleigh Farm butchers on Catherine Hill. (Vegetarian, vegan and child-friendly meals available).
The party then moves to the main bar at 9pm featuring a lineup filled to the brim with local DJs. Expect to hear anything from RnB to Disco, Liquid Drum and Bass to Ambient Trance, Soul to House and so much more – nothing but summer vibes all evening, 6pm-2.30am. Accompanied children welcome until 9pm. Free before 9pm. £5 after.
On Sunday 24th June, 23 Bath St will be showing the FIFA World Cup England vs Panama game on a 96″ screen. 23 will be showing all World Cup games including England vs Belgium, the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and of course The Final! Not only are 23 providing the biggest screen to watch the game on, but they’ll be serving lager, cider and ale pitchers for only £12. Pimm’s pitchers will also be on offer. There will be enough chips and hot dogs to go round and not forgetting gaming consoles set up with FIFA. All ages welcome, 12pm-4pm. Free entry.
On Tuesday 26th June, Frome Pub Choir is back after their super successful first event. Frome Pub Choir say, “It doesn’t matter how well you sing, Pub Choir is for anyone who has that undeniable compulsion to sing out and sing loud!’ Come and join the choir, grab a drink or two, meet new friends, old friends and sing your heart out in three-part harmony! 14+ accompanied welcome, 7pm-10pm. £5 entry.
On Friday 29th June, Kaotik p 1 is set to host their first event in Frome. Firmly rooted in Bristol’s underground scene, Kaotik Kartel is a collective of DJs, producers and vocalists who play the finest in forward-thinking Dancehall. Garage, Hip-Hop and Jungle. After years of running roadblock events with a multitude of the South West’s finest sound systems and music collectives, Kaotik Kartel are working on their first studio album, to be released on the Kartel label later in the summer. 18+ 9pm-2.30am. £tobeconfirmed
On Saturday 30th June, Under Cover are returning to 23’s stage. The experienced Rock covers are guaranteed to fill the dancefloor, keeping you moovin’ and groovin’ all night long with not only our favourite Rock covers but Pop, Motown and Chart covers too. After the band, it’s over to DJ Toby Spin, to keep those feet moving with Disco, House, Lady Bass, Motown, Chart and Funk tunes. 18+ 9pm-2.30am. £3 advance, £5 entry.
On Tuesday 3rd July, Loops Music Projects return for their monthly residency Loops Disco. This is a fun, social and immersive dancing event for the learning disabled community of Frome and beyond. Featuring DJs, disco lights and gaming consoles (including Wii), a fully stocked bar and friendly, helpful staff. 14+ accompanied welcome. £3 entry (carers free of charge), 7.30pm-9.30pm.
