THE Memorial Theatre lineup is jam-packed with music and entertainment for the coming weeks.
Friday 1st June – 7.30pm – An Evening with Manchester United Legends – Two Manchester United legends grace the stage at the Memorial Theatre in Frome to talk about their brilliant careers at Manchester United.
Come and join Man Utd players Paul Parker and Lee Sharpe along with your host Perry Groves from Talksport as they discuss games, dressing room/training ground stories, managers, fall outs and everything you wanted to know about a successful football club – and Sir Alex Ferguson is sure to be a talking point too!
There will be a chance to put your questions across on the night to the lads. VIP tickets are available for a meet and greet and a photograph opportunity before the show.

A ‘fantastic’ new show featuring the best of George, Andrew, Pepsi and Shirlie with sensational vocals, choreography, costumes and an awesome live band.
Can it really be 37 years since George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley formed one of the most enduring pop groups of the 80s? In four short years WHAM! sold more than 28 million records, topping the charts with three albums, four number one singles and 11 top ten hits. They featured in the Live Aid concert of 1985 and were the first Western pop group to ever tour in China. Their impact and influence on the 80s era and music today really cannot be over emphasised. The Best of WHAM! show includes all those hits, a few B side favourites and a couple of early George Michael bonus songs. Theatre Open Day
Humphrey Barnes Chairman of FMTT explains, “As many of your readers are aware, the Frome Memorial Theatre is run entirely by volunteers and we have successfully been doing so for the past 35 years.
“Once a year we open our theatre and the Assembly Rooms, offering talks on the history, where we are now and where we see our future.
“Our open day this year is Saturday June 30th 10.00am – 1.00pm and we would welcome anyone who may be interested at having a closer look at our theatre and perhaps join us as a volunteer. We need additional help in marketing, box office, stewarding, confectionery kiosk, maintenance and back stage.
The theatre is a registered charity with trustees, perhaps you would like to become a trustee? Come and talk to us over a cup of coffee on the 30th June.
