THE Frome branch of the Royal British Legion is seeking a new volunteer to help out with this year’s Poppy Appeal collection.
The Royal British Legion is the UK’s most prominent military charity, with thousands of service personnel and veterans turning to the charity for help in their hour of need. The Poppy Appeal forms a significant part of their fundraising effort each year and is essential to continuing to provide support when needed.
Paul Bunce, the Poppy Appeal community fundraiser, said, “Frome is always so generous in its support of the Poppy Appeal – last year we managed to raise an amazing £30,000! We are currently seeking a new Poppy Appeal organiser to oversee the volunteers and help organise the collection. No one will be left on their own – we have a great team of volunteers. If anyone is interested, please do get in touch!”
To discuss the role and for more information, please get in touch with Paul on 07458 118840 or email pbunce@britishlegion.org.uk.
