Buckland History Group will be holding an exhibition on village life at Buckland Dinham Village Hall on Saturday 28th January.
Titled ‘Decade by Decade: the 20th Century in Buckland Dinham’, the exhibition will be open between 10am and 4pm.
The village celebrated national events such as coronations and jubilees, losses were suffered in wartime and censuses were taken. Local events and organisations will also be in evidence.
Available to buy on the day will be an all new volume of ‘Buckland Memories’. The book is made up of reminiscences taken from villagers over many years, with some going back to before the First World War.
Entry costs £3 and refreshments will be available throughout the day, with soup at lunchtime.
