THE Magical Folk Garden is back for its 5th year, as part of the Frome Festival in the newly refurbished Granary at The George Hotel in the town centre from 11th – 13th July.
The event is a showcase of the best UK contemporary folk music across 3 nights and is welcoming some incredible big names and talents from the genre.
Hosted by Cllr Al O’Kane, who is himself a singer and songwriter said he is “thrilled to have such an amazing line-up for this year’s event – it is truly awesome to have the likes of folk veteran Reg Meuross, Pete Josef – a true musical pioneer from Roni Size Reprazent, Bristol’s Lewis Clark & The Essentials and Katey Brooks as well as The Cedar – just to name a few – there are loads more brilliant acts, including some really talented young musicians in the line-up. We’ll be transforming The Granary into yet another woodland wonderland and I’m seriously excited for what promises to be the best Magical Folk Garden to date!”
Doors open 7:15pm, and music starts at 8pm for all three nights. £10 on the door or advanced bookings or £20 for a ‘3-day MFG pass’. To book, contact the Frome Festival Box Office on 01373 455420 or buy the tickets online at http://fromefestival.co.uk/
