Frome Selwood Tennis Club are holding a free tennis day this Sunday 17th July between 10am and 4pm.
All are welcome to the afternoon, which will be a chance to try out the three new ‘Pay and Play’ tennis courts in the Mary Baily playing fields.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, including strawberries and cream, with a BBQ from 12pm to 2pm.
“Tennis is a really sociable sport and we hope that visitors bring their family and friends too,” said Geoff Smith, the club’s marketing manager.
“Our Great British Tennis events are really good fun. Whether you are a beginner, a returner or a keen player, all levels and all ages are welcome.
“If you don’t have a racquet, don’t worry; the club can provide these on the day. If you are supporting the Frome Half Marathon, why not make a day of it and come along to the club afterwards.”
If you would like to register in advance then go online to www.greatbritishtennisweekend.com otherwise just turn up on the day.
