Year 6 children at Oakfield Academy celebrated their annual Greek Day on Wednesday 3rd June.
It was a day packed full of fun and exciting activities linked to the topic of the Ancient Greeks.
Children and staff were invited to come to school dressed as characters from Greek myths and legends and prizes were awarded for the best outfits. The children also took part in Greek food tasting, labyrinth design challenges, making Medusa headdresses and Greek pottery.
The day was rounded off with a mini Olympic games on the school field.
