AN INTERACTIVE theatre company will be bringing its acclaimed performances of Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet to Frome this weekend.
The Pocket Oxford Theatre Company will bring their versions of the Shakespeare classics to Somerset for the first time when they perform at the Merlin Theatre on Saturday, 24th September.
Pocket Oxford’s art director Teds Walker says, “These madcap extravaganzas are the perfect introduction to the Bard, they are high energy and fun for all the family, from ages six to 80. With thrills, spills and audience participation, it’s fast-paced, funny and cool for kids, making Shakespeare something not to be afraid of!”
Romeo and Juliet will be performed at 3pm, then Hamlet at 6pm, in separately ticketed events.
