A NEW pop up country market, set up by sisters-in-law Rachel and Rowena of Palette and Pasture, brings a wide range of traders, food, animals and rides.
Artist Rachel and graphic designer Rowena, have been working on a collection of new ventures. Leading up to Christmas last year, Rowena wanted to do a pop up market to promote Rachel’s art, but quickly realised that there was no time at all to organise such an event.
Over the following few weeks they both decided to go all-out and organise such an event, coming up with the name ‘Palette and Pasture’. The name symbolises Rachel’s art work, but also works well with the dairy farm at Truddox Hill, who have been working on producing their own gelato.
Palette and Pasture’s Country Market is a seasonal pop-up, supporting local craft and food traders set on Pyle Farm on the outskirts of Frome. There will be a chance to meet the farm animals, enjoy a tractor and trailer ride and shop local independent traders. It’s a community event which is free to attend, with plenty of parking space on site.
