THE Archangel, Frome will host a Beer and Cider Festival this weekend from 26th-29th August and celebrate British summertime with food, drink and entertainment.
Landlord at the Archangel, Ross Nicol, is inviting everyone to enjoy this special summer event which offers free entry.
He said, “Join us in our glorious sun-trap courtyard for our festival in Frome featuring barbecue food, flowing drinks and entertainment, as we toast to the British summertime with a celebration of some of Somerset’s finest real ales and ciders.
“The barbecue will be fired up and smoking, the aroma of chargrilled meats filling the air, and the musical stylings of our live band creating a lively yet laid back atmosphere. The real ales and ciders we’re bringing in for the event are truly special and varied, and are sure to delight craft lovers and enthusiasts. Of course, if neither ale nor cider is your tipple, you can still drink from our regular ample wine, cocktail, spirit, and beer menus.
“In addition to an abundance of food and drink, we’ll also be hosting a variety of different games and a raffle to keep things interesting.
“Of course our festival in Frome isn’t just about the big kids, little ones will have fun getting their faces painted in whatever bright and wonderful design they like, before taking their pick at our ice cream station (big kids can also indulge!)
“Throughout the festival, all our regular food and drink menus will also be available.
“If you have any questions about the festival, please contact a member of our team at 01373 456111 or hello@archangelfrome. com.”
