The club says, “The away day was organised by Pat Jones, Lin Handley and Sheila Goodbody who did a great job, including arranging a perfect day of weather. The ladies had a two-course meal in the clubhouse following the game where they agreed that everyone had had a great day and thanks were given to the three organisers who had put a lot of hard work into making it a very enjoyable event.”
Earlier in the month The Barwell Masters was played at Orchardleigh and this year’s winner was Sue Sweet who came in with a nett 77 score.
