Earlier this year local poet, Rose Flint, won the national Littoral Press Prize for a collection of eco-poetry.
Her work, ‘Mapping the Borders,’ will be launched at the Green Platter poetry evening at the Merlin on 10th October, 8pm. This new collection draws on her previous five books, selecting work that concentrates on green themes.
Her poem ‘The Field’ won the prestigious Cardiff Poetry Prize in 2008 and she has won three other international awards.
