The Woodlanders are in the final stages of rehearsals for their 43rd Exciting Extravaganza at the East Woodlands Village Hall. Can it really be that time of year already?
Tickets are selling fast so anyone who doesn’t want to miss the phenomenon that is The Woodlanders should get on the phone to Janice Coles 01373 472333 to buy their tickets. The show runs from 7th to 12th October.
Trudi Whittock, Secretary of The Woodlanders said, “This is old fashioned entertainment as it used to be. There is rousing singing and dancing to start the show, a comedy tale or two, some dreamy songs, funny rhymes and a whole host of acts which have to be seen to be believed!
“There is a cash bar which will ensure the audience enjoys the entertainment on offer even more and raffle prizes galore. Come and see how 14 local entertainers can keep you in fits of laughter for two hours. Once seen, never forgotten!
“Kerry Bishop will be on hand to provide the music with his usual flair, panache and style.”
Over their 43-year history, The Woodlanders have raised well over £120,000 for local charities and all profits this year will again be donated to local good causes.
Tickets are just £10 and are available by calling 01373 472333.
