LOVE LEGO? Then don’t miss out on Bath & Somerset’s first ever Lego event: “Time for Bricks.”
Frome charity Time is Precious, (set up in memory of Ben Halford, who died from a brain tumour in 2010, by his parents Neil and Nicky Halford) is holding the event to raise awareness and vital funds for their upcoming projects to help improve the facilities and environment for children and their families whilst in hospital.
There will be exhibitors from all over the country, showcasing a range of exciting themes, alongside the Lego Robot club and the UK Blocks magazine and book signing. On the day there will be a range of activities available to join in with including; self-build Lego, remote-control vehicles etc., a chance to purchase mini figures, a variety of individual pieces and quirky/unique Lego gifts.
Organiser Neil Halford said, “We have held many events over the years for Time is Precious and wanted to try something different. We will have over 45 tables of displays and activities of Lego and will be holding a raffle with over £300 of prizes. There will also be refreshments available on the day. I would like to thank Frome Self Storage who has kindly sponsored our event.”
The Time for Bricks event will be held at the Centurion Hotel, Midsomer Norton, on Sunday 17th September from 11am to 4.30pm. For more details and tickets please visit: www.timeisprecious.org or call 01373 813457.
