HAVE you ever played Bowls? Frome Selwood Bowling Club is holding an open day on Sunday 16th April for people to try their hand at the sport.
All you need to do is wear flat shoes and the club will provide the rest.
“We will be here to help and advise you and have a lovely time,” said the club. “Refreshments will be on hand in our club house and the bar will be open. We are also here every Monday evening thereafter from 6pm to 7pm.
“Our club is next to the new tennis courts at Frome Park at the bottom of the footpath adjacent to Mary Baily playing fields and we are on the right. Come and give it a go, we are very friendly club and will make you very welcome.”
