ONE of Britain’s most respected travel writers, Christopher Somerville, will be coming to Frome to re-tell his epic journey traversing Britain’s geological, historical and geographical landscape and his encounters with the land and the people he met along the way.
Chris will be answering questions about his adventure, reading from his book – Walking The Bones of Britain – a 3 Billion Year Journey from the Outer Hebrides to the Thames Estuary – and signing copies on Tuesday 24th October in the Naval Room at The Archangel. The doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
The event is being organised by Hunting Raven Books, who say, “Somerset. Beautiful and ancient from moor to coast. We are a county stuffed full of walkers, climbers, nature enthusiasts and writers. In fact, a great place for Christopher Somerville, the Bristol based Times walking correspondent, to introduce his latest book.”
Tickets can be bought from Hunting Raven Books, on Eventbrite or on the door. For more information visit https://bit.ly/somervillefrome
