ST LEONARDS Church at Marston Bigot is opening its doors to invite musicians to come and try out it’s acoustics – and grand organ!
About the event on Sunday 5th December, from 2-5pm, organisers say, “Join us for an afternoon of tea, cake and music in this 18th century building which lies in a fabulous setting with wide and tranquil views of fields and woods of the River Frome valley a couple of miles west of Frome, known for its wonderful peal of eight bells and its important stained glass windows, which have recently been refurbished.
“The church is heated but do wrap up warm. £3 donation (includes a hot drink) gratefully received for heat and lighting costs, and if you’re any good at baking do feel free to bring something to share!
“Parking available or enjoy a walk across the fields. Just turn up and play or contact sara@gracefulsolutions.co.uk for details.”
