FROME Area Christians Together (FACT) held its first live music ‘Live Lounge’ event at a coffee shop in the town recently.
The gig was held at Costa Coffee in the Market Place on 31st March.
FACT’s James Parsons said, “The event was well attended by about 50 people of all ages. It was an attempt to bring ‘church’ out of the building and take it to where people are – in the town centre.
“The Live Lounge was co-hosted by Adrian Wyatt of the Congregational Federation and mission enabler for Trudoxhill and Rook Lane Congregational Churches; and Bryce Tangsvald, Frome Area Christians Together youth worker. The music and testimony was provided by singer-songwriters Michalis Patterson, a young American living in Frome, and Sara Vian.”
The next Live Lounge will take place on Friday 28th April from 7pm to 9pm at Costa. Entry is free.
