Family barbecue, Open Mic, The Noughties, The next Indie Super-band, Retro Gaming Family Day and more, will all be taking place at Frome’s Venue in Bath Street this May.
The Venue kicks off with a family barbecue on Wednesday 17th May. D;Panix DJ and label owner at Ambience Drum and Bass UK is set to bring a mid-week ‘good vibe and family friendly barbecue to the venue! Alongside some local DJ’s, D;Panix will showcase their very best Jazzy and feel-good vibe Drum and Bass.
The event is family- friendly up-to 9pm with face painting from ‘Bee Something Face Painting’ and a barbecue menu that will suit the biggest eaters down to the smallest.

Thursday 18th May the venue dive into their monthly Open Mic night and whether you’re a seasoned performer, sing to a pre-recorded set, play an instrument or even spoken word, Frome’s Venue invite you to take over their stage for free! They can even offer to record your sets.

The Noughties are set to make a reappearance on Friday 19th May at the venue. DJ’s Jonny Bonny Tyler and Sam Bhok say that ‘it may only be 10 years ago but Frome’s Venue will be rocked to the core with sounds of our most recent decade’.
In a back to back DJ session, you can expect Beyonce, Green Day, Craig David, Blink 182, Lady Gaga, Wheatus, Sean Paul and more Beyonce! Doors open at 9pm. £3Adv £5Door.
4-Piece Indie Pop/Rock band Misfires are heading to the venue during their 2017 headline tour on Thursday 25th May. Labelled ”The next Indie super-band’ by Spilt Milk magazine, Misfires were supporting The Sherlocks during their 2017 tour and now they’re headlining their own!
They’ve been receiving buckets of air-time from BBC Radio 1 and the rising band have been added to Spotify’s ”Hot New Bands” playlist. Don’t miss out on the next big thing, get your tickets now!

Boxes are filled to the brim with hundreds of games to choose from, everything free to play! As well as the computer games there are Lego, colouring in, toys, board games & more! Doors open at 2pm!
