THERE is still time to sign up for the 4k Frome Santa Dash taking place at 11am on Sunday 11th December at the Old Showfield.

Organisers say, “We’ve had snow, we’ve had rain, we’ve had beautiful winter sunshine, but the one constant with the Frome Santa Dash is a lot of fun, a lot of fundraising, and a pretty wholesome start to your Christmas!
“For the fifth year running, we have to thank Frome Cricket Club and Frome Running Club. Your registration fee gets you a Santa suit and medal. There is always a mixture of seasoned runners and people taking it a bit easier, and that’s just fine – split-second-accurate timings from the running club for the competitive, and endless selfie opportunities all round! Kids have been known to scoot or cycle the 4k distance, and that’s fine too.
“Under 5s are very welcome and run for free – although they’re too tiny for the suits, so can dress to impress with their own festive clothing. We’ll be cheering you on and selling hot and cold refreshments before and after.”
