WITH vinyl enjoying a comeback after sales hit an 18-year high last year, enthusiasts at Raves From The Grave in Frome are starting a vinyl appreciation night.
Vinyl Appreciation Thursdays will begin this Thursday 12th March with a nostalgic look at The Beatles’ 1966 classic Revolver.
Hosted by the Guardian’s John Harris, the evening will start at 7.30pm at the Three Swans in King Street, with tickets costing just £2. Following both a mono and stereo playback of Revolver, John will then invite discussion and insight into one of the most significant albums ever to be released.
The album is available on 180g vinyl in mono and stereo from Raves From The Grave. Revolver, which hit number one in albums charts across the world and is now 5x platinum in the USA, was The Beatles’ seventh album and preceded Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
